
Former Trojan Lydia DaCorte Wins 3 Races in 1st Meet as Sophomore
Former MDI Trojan Lydia DaCorte, swimming for Wheaton College returned to the pool in her 1st meet of the 2018-19 season, and won 3 races.
DaCorte, was the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Swimming Rookie of the Year and an All-American in her freshman year.
In the meet against Bentley College on Friday, October 19th, DaCorte finished 1st in the 1000 Yard Freestyle with a time of 10:52.36 as well as 1st in the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:15.83 and the 200 Yard Individual Medley with a time of 2:13.04.
Wheaton fell to Bentley 150-134. Wheaton returns to the pool at Brandeis on Saturday, October 27th.
