The Trenton Volunteer Fire Department, Lamoine Fire Department and Hancock Fire Departments were all toned out just after midnight this morning, on Wednesday, October 16th for a fully involved fire at 29 Captain Douglas Lane in Trenton.

The single family home, under renovation was unoccupied but is considered a total loss. When crew arrived the fire was considered fully involved with fire showing through the roof, front and sides of the building.

The Trenton Volunteer Fire Department reports that the house was not insured and that all tools, equipment and contents in the house are considered lost.

The State Fire Marshall has been called to investigate the fire to determine the cause.

The Trenton Fire Department thanks the Ellsworth Fire Department, Northern Light Ambulance, Versant Power who assisted and other fire departments who helped back-fill while the fire was being fought.
