Emmaus Shelter Thanksgiving Boxes – How to Sign Up; How to Donate Food
The Emmaus Homeless Shelter in Ellsworth will be giving away holiday food boxes to anyone in need in Hancock County. The food boxes will consist of a turkey and all the fixings including a pie.
To sign up for the holiday food boxes all you have to do is call the Emmaus Homeless Shelter at 667-3962. Deadline to sign up for Thanksgiving food boxes is November 16th.
Families or individuals who are receiving a Thanksgiving box should plan on picking them up on either November 17th or 18th between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pick up is a drive through and you are asked to enter on the Main Street side and exit on the Water Street side.
If you are in a position to donate cash for the Turkeys or non-perishable fixings, here's what the Emmaus Shelter told us! They are in need of monetary donations for Turkeys as they had to purchase them ahead of time to make sure that they had them available. You can send a check to the Emmaus Shelter, 51 Main Street, Ellsworth, Maine, 04605 and put Turkeys in the memo line.
Stuffing, gravy, and cranberry sauce is always needed and can be dropped off at the shelter anytime.
