Ellsworth-Waterville Semis Today 1 PM

The #1 seeded Ellsworth Eagles will play host to the #5 seeded Waterville Purple Panthers in the Class B North Semifinals today, October 31st at 1 PM, and we'll have the game for you live on WDEA AM 1370 and WDEA Internet Radio.

Ellsworth is 12-2-1 and defeated Foxcroft Academy 2-1 in the Quarterfinals. Waterville is 13-2-1 as well, and beat Hermon 1-0 in the prelims and upset the #4 seed Oceanside Mariners 4-3 in overtime.

Ellsworth is led by Lukas Firestone, the PVC Player of the Year and by PVC All Conference 1st Team players Bruce St. Peter, Colby Clarke,and Jared Hamilton as well as 2nd Team player Alex Braley

The winner will play in the Northern Maine Final on November 4th. The other semifinal today pits the #10 seed Erskine Academy Eagles at the #3 seeded Presque Isle Wildcats.
