Ellsworth Volleyball Falls to Hampden Academy 3-2

The Ellsworth Volleyball Team traveled to Hampden Academy on Tuesday, September 12th, falling to the Broncos 3-2 in 5 sets.

The set scores were 25-19, 20-25, 20-25, 25-12 and 10-15.

Individual standouts for the Eagles include

Olivia Harmon - 13 service points with 1 ace, 5 kills, 13 assists, 3 digs
Ava VanDorn - 11 service points with 3 aces, 2 kills, 7 assists, 3 digs
Brooke Pirie - 6 kills, 4 blocks, 3 assists
Shanteena Griffiths - 3 service points with 1 ace, 10 kills, 2 assists, 7 digs
Brielle Grindle - 13 service points with 6 aces, 3 kills, 1 assist, 9 digs

Ellsworth is now 2-2 on the season. The Eagles will host Yarmouth on Saturday, September 16th at 2 p.m.

Hampden Academy is now 2-3. The Broncos head down south on Saturday, to play the Edward Little Red Eddies at 12:30 p.m. on September 16th.
