Ellsworth Swimming Sweeps Hampden

The Ellsworth Swim Team opened their 2108-19 season sweeping Hampden,  with the Boys winning 103-66 and the Girls winning 112-54 on Tuesday, December 11th.

It was a great meet.  Both teams swam some fast races, and the deck spirit of cheering and awesome sportsmanship was superb.  Our meets with Hampden are always fun and spirited.  They are more kindred spirits then competitors, of course the competition was great.  Lots of good times and many good State qualifying times achieved.  I have yet to figure all that out but going through the results, I note a lot of qualifying times which is awesome for this early in the season.

Ellsworth is back in action on Friday, December 14th when they compete against Bangor at the pool at Husson University. The meet begins at 6PM.
