Ellsworth Principal Leaves [Updated]

Ellsworth High School's principal, Renee Thompson will be leaving the school as she has been hired to be the new principal of Oceanside East High School in Rockland. Thompson will begin her new position in August.

Ellsworth Superintendent of Schools Dan Higgins accepted Renee Thompson's resignation this morning (July 11). Higgins commented that he is in the process of developing a plan to present to the school board, as to whether they should search for a permanent replacement for Thompson, or an interim replacement, given the timing of the resignation.
