City Manager Glenn Moshier cut the ribbon on Ellsworth's new parklet on a beautiful Thursday, afternoon. The parklet is located on the now closed Franklin Street Extension, which is between Main Street and City Hall Plaza.

Holding the ribbon were Janna Richards, the Economic Development Director for the City of Ellsworth and Lisa Sekulich the Director of Public Works for the City of Ellsworth

Public Works built 10 handcrafted picnic tables including 2 ADA wheelchair accessible tables. They all have umbrellas with strips of LED lights for lighting at night.  WIFI extension boosters are being installed so you can access the free WIFI while dining, along with hand sanitizing stations.
