Ellsworth Jazz Bands Advance to State Finals [VIDEO]
Wednesday was a good day for the Ellsworth Jazz Bands and Combos at the District VI Competition at George Stevens Academy.
According to Director Jamie Calandro, both combos received bronze ratings with scores of 87.5, and the big band took the silver with a score of 92. Ian Brenner-Simpson, Ben Partridge, and Edie Salzig (twice) received 1 ratings for individual solos.
They'll be heading to the State Competition in South Portland March 13-14
