Ellsworth Girls Win John Bapst Title IX Tournament

The Ellsworth Girls took on Spruce Mountain on Sunday afternoon in the finals of the John Bapst Title IX Tournament at the Cross Insurance Center. Ellsworth won 59-43.

The finals was a rematch of the State Class B Tournament on March 7th, when Ellsworth hung on to beat Spruce Mountain 57-56 to win their 1st ever Gold Ball and the State Class B Championship! 

The scorebook that was forwarded to me from Sunday's title game isn't complete, but it appears that Ellsworth led 38-20 at the end of the 1st Half and that Grace Jaffray was the leading scorer for the Eagles.
