Ellsworth Burger King to Close Permanently After Service December 28th

The Ellsworth Burger King, owned by Steve Wegner is one of 4 Burger Kings that will close permanently after service on Monday December 28th. In addition to the Ellsworth Burger King, the Hogan Road Bangor, Orono and Rockland Burger Kings will be closing.

A representative of the Ellsworth Burger King confirmed the restaurant's closings.

According to the Bangor Daily News, Wegner closed 3 Aroostook County Burger Kings on February 1, 2020. He closed Houlton, Presque Isle and Caribou locations.

He closed the Calais location in 2015
