U.S. Senator Angus King and U.S. Representative Chellie Pingree have won re-election, but District 2's race is neck-and-neck.

The Portland Press Herald reports Senator Angus King took 54% of the votes, with 74% of precincts reporting, compared to Eric Brakey's 36%, and Zac Ringelstein's 10%. U.S. Representative Chellie Pingree had 58% of the votes, with 78% of precincts reporting, compared to Mark Holbrook's 33%, and Martin Grohman's 9%.

But in District 2, the race between incumbent Representative Bruce Poliquin and Jared Golden is heading for a second round of ranked-choice tallying. With 72% of precincts reporting, both Poliquin and Golden had 46% of the votes. Tiffany Bond had 6%, while William Hoar had 2%.
