EHS Swim Teams Defeat GSA on Senior Recognition Night

The Ellsworth Swim Teams defeated GSA on Friday night, February 1st at the Down East Family YMCA pool. The Ellsworth Boys won 123-29 while the Ellsworth Girls won 120-16

Prior to the meet, the following Ellsworth Seniors were recognized, along with their parent(s)/guardian(s):

Katie Hammer, Camden Holmes, Sydney Stevens, Sam Pelletier, Miram Nelson, Ben Mazgaj, Ellie Clarke, Carter Frank, Onecia Smith, Beckett Markosian, and Hunter Clark. Victoria Bennett from Sumner High School was also recognized.

According to Coach James Goodman

It was a fast meet, and many of our swimmers improved their times, and included another State qual achieved.  We currently have 10 of 14 girls qualified to participate in States, and 13 out of 16 boys.  We hope to get one or two more swimmers qualified at the upcoming PVC Championship this next weekend, 8-9 Feb at UMaine.
