The Buffalo Bills spent most of the week talking about the Patriots. New England did its talking on the field in a 40-32 win. After the Bills scored on the opening possession of the game and stopped the Pats three and out, it looked like it might be a long day. However the Patriots would score 37 of the next 44 points and hang on down the stretch.

Tom Brady threw 59 passes in the game completing 39 of them for 466 yards and 3 touchdowns. It's the 65th time he has surpassed the 300 yard mark in a game and the 7th time he threw for over 400. Brady is now just 1 touchdown pass shy of 400 for his career.

Rob Gronkowski had a 117 yards receiving to lead the Pats while Julien Edelman caught 11 passes for 97 yards and 2 touchdowns.

New England's defense came to play as well. Bills QB Tyrod Taylor spent most of the day running from Pats defenders who registered 8 sacks, the most in a game since 2004. Chandler Jones had 3 of them which is a career high. The Pats also had 3 interceptions with Daron Harmon, Malcom Butler and Logan Ryan getting one each.
