For one of the first times this season the New England Patriots had to lean on their defense to pull out a win. Despite an ineffective offense and more injuries the Pats beat Buffalo 20-13.

Injuries have played a big part of the last few weeks of the season and it continued Moday night when wide receivers Aaron Dobson (foot) and Danny Amendola (knee) left the game and never returned. That combined with constant pressure by the Bills defense on Tom Brady made for a difficult night that did end on a good note with the Pats improving to 10-0.

James White scored both Patriots touchdowns with the first coming on a 20-yard pass form Brady with just :33 seconds remaining in the first half. He would find the end zone again in the third quarter when he ran it in form 6-yards out. Stephen Gostkowski provided the rest of the scoring with a couple field goal kicks.

Brady finished with 277 yards and completed passes to 9 different receivers. He played the fourth quarter with just two wide receivers in Brandon LaFell and rookie Chris Harper who was activated off the practice roster this week.

The defense played their customary bend but don't break style allowing just one touchdown despite the Bills having a time of possession of nearly 33 minutes.

New England will be back in a prime time game next week when they play at Denver in the Sunday night game.
