Early Morning Bar Harbor Crash Claims the Life of a Trenton Woman

Bar Harbor Police say a Trenton woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning.

Tammy Dow, 59, died in the crash that was reported just before 1 AM. Members of the Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Police Departments responded and determined that the vehicle had left the roadway and struck a tree on the driver's side. Dow was alone in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics from the Bar Harbor Fire Department.

The crash was reconstructed by the Hancock County Sheriff's Office and remains under investigation.
