The State level competition will be held Saturday March 9 in Fairfield. The top four teams and 20 students from each of Maine’s three districts will compete against each other for spots on the four-person team that represents Maine at Nationals in May. The Conners Emerson School Math Team is coached by Bar Harbor resident Joel Graber and retired teacher Sarah Winne.
Also qualifying for the State competition is the team from Mount Desert Elementary School.
