Common Good Soup Kitchen in Southwest Harbor Needs Your Help Thursday May 13th at 9:15 a.m.

Do you have a hour to spare this Thursday, May 13th at 9:15 a.m.? The Common Good Soup Kitchen, located at 19 Clark Point Road (Post Office Complex) in Southwest Harbor is expecting a large order of food for distribution to the community, but they need help unloading the truck!

If you can help, please give them a call at either 244-3007 or 479-5313 and let them know you are coming

And while we are asking for help for The Common Good, they are also seeking enthusiastic and energetic staff for their Summer Popover Fundraiser.

They host a donation based community breakfast service 7:30-11:30am, Tuesday-Sunday. The Common Good offers popovers, oatmeal, coffee, tea, juice and great music!

All of their services will be outdoors, and they take the safety of both their staff and their guests extremely seriously. They offer competitive wages, stable hours, and the chance to really help make a difference.

We use the funds from our summer fundraiser to run our soup  kitchen, home delivery program and food pantry
