Bare Knuckle-Boxer Chris Sarro Of Ellsworth Fights This Friday Night

We're wishing out hometown hero the best while in the cage this Friday night!

Bare knuckle-boxer Chris "Golden Gloves" Sarro of Ellsworth has been spending a lot of time at MXA Fitness in Ellsworth and at his home-made gym training since last September for his next fight, and the 31 year-old downeaster will travel to Mississippi for this Friday night's bout with Billy “The Kid” Martin.  The bout between Sarro and Martin is part of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship’s BKFC 11 card, and the event will be streamed free and live for all to see at the BKFC You Tube site and on Facebook Live.

Recently, Sarro told the Bangor Daily News, "“I’m lighter, but this is the best shape I’ve ever been in.”

Not only does Chris Sarro know his way around the ring, but he's a well-accomplished artist as well.  You can see his beautiful paintings depicting people doing various jobs in downeast Maine on the side of the Tideway Market on Route 1 in Hancock!  While his artwork is displayed the side of the building there is a chicken sandwich inside on the menu dedicated to our hometown fighter, it's called the "Knock-Out."  You see, Chris is a really good customer and a big time fan of their fried chicken!

So this Friday night we'll be glued to the internet and cheering on Chris Sarro! Whatever the outcome may be we're really proud of our boy from Maine!
