Bar Harbor Town Band Cancels 2021 Summer Season Citing Rising COVID Numbers

The Bar Harbor Town Band unanimously decided to cancel their 2021 Summer Season, which was slated to begin on Monday, July 19th, citing concerns about rising COVID numbers and the spread of the Delta variant throughout Maine.

The Band, which had announced at the beginning of the month the resumption of the concerts after a year off because of COVID was scheduled to play Mondays and Thursday at the bandstand at the Village Green July 19th - August 19th.

We will just have to wait until 2022. As the Bar Harbor Town Band said in their Facebook post, please get vaccinated if you aren't as of yet!
