Bar Harbor Temporary Outdoor Areas for Restaurants and Retail Stores [UPDATE]

On Monday, June 8th, the Town of Bar Harbor made changes in the deadline for applying for permits, and when the permits will begin.  The new permit application deadline is Wednesday June 17th and permits will now begin on Friday, June 19th.

At the Tuesday, June 2nd Town Council Meeting, the Bar Harbor Town Council voted to approved temporary outdoor areas for restaurants and retail stores for the 2020 season. Interested parties must act quickly, as open enrollment for permit applications ends on Wednesday, JuneAdd New 10th.  June 17th (change effective June 8th)

All approved Temporary Use Permits issued shall begin at 7:00 a.m, on Friday, June 12, now June 19th 2020 (change effective June 8th), and shall expire at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2020.  Additional open enrollment and approval process dates may be scheduled as determined by the Town Manager.
