Bar Harbor Selects Names for their Plow Trucks and Sanders

At their recent April 20th meeting, the Bar Harbor Town Council selected the 11 names for the plow trucks and sanders in their fleet. The names were submitted by the public, at the suggestion of Councilor Cough.

So next winter! Be on the lookout for

• Plowy McPlow Face
• Grit’er Done!
• Colonel Sanders
• Sled Zeppelin
• Katie
• Snow Dancer
• Winter Warrior
• Herbie
• Acadia Clipper

They'll be keeping the roads clean and sanded! Hopefully the names will be prominently displayed on the vehicles
