Bar Harbor Recount Scheduled for August 1st

A recount has been requested in the Bar Harbor Municipal election that was held on July 14th. The recount, will be held on Saturday, August 1st beginning at 9 a.m. in the Auditorium on the 3rd Floor of the Municipal beginning.

The recount, requested by Arthur Greif pertains to Questions 3 and 5, which had to do with Land Use Ordinance revisions.

Question 3 - The Permitting Authority passed 989 to 972, a difference of 17 votes, while Question 5 which had to do with Shared Accommodations passed 931 to 927, a difference of 4 votes.
