Bar Harbor Public Safety Cancels Free Community Cookout Saturday October 28th [UPDATE]

October 27th. UPDATE -  In light of the Tragedy in Lewiston and the continued manhunt, the Bar Harbor/Mount Desert Police Department and Bar Harbor Fire Department's free community BBQ on Saturday, October 28th from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. has been canceled.

The cookout was to take place at the Athletic Field off of Park Street in Bar Harbor.

According to the Bar Harbor Police Facebook post, it's a chance to meet and mingle with local residents at the end of another successful and busy summer season!
