Bar Harbor Election Results – July 14

2087 of a possible 4714 voters, or 44 per cent cast their votes in the Bar Harbor election that was held on July 14th, concluding the annual Town Meeting. Here are the results.

Town Council - Three for 3 Year Terms

• Jill Goldthwait - 1452 votes
• Valerie Peacock - 1043 votes
• Erin Cough - 857 votes
• Stephen Coston - 578 votes
• Christopher Strout - 570 votes
• Kevin Desveaux - 534 votes

Jill Goldthwait and Erin Cough will both return to the Council, joined by Valerie Peacock. Stephen Coston who was seeking re-election failed in his attempt.

Superintending School Committee - Two for 3 Year Terms

• Robin Sue Tapley - 1484 votes
• Dwayne Bolt - 1176 votes

Both Tapley and Bolt will return to the AOS 91 School Committee

MDI School District Trustee - One for 3 Year Term

• Joseph Cough - 1450 votes
