Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce Announces Annual Meeting to go Virtual and Annual Award Winners

The Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce announced on Friday, October 15th that their Annual Meeting, will be virtual again this year, because of COVID. You can watch the meeting online on Monday, November 8th on the Chamber's Facebook Page

Additionally, Executive Director Alf Anderson announced the Annual Award Winners. They are

Business of the Year: Acadian Boat Tours

Rising Star Award: Salt & Steel

Neighbor Business of the Year: Edwards Brothers Supermarkets

The Rising Star Award is given to a business demonstrating marked growth and prominence. The Neighbor Business of the Year Award is bestowed upon a business member located outside of Bar Harbor. And the member business that has demonstrated excellence in operations and performance over the past twelve months is named the Business of the Year.

Board Chair Nina Barufaldi St. Germain has selected Bar Harbor Town Manager Cornell Knight to receive the President's Award this year. Knight is retiring as Bar Harbor's Town Manager in January 2022. He has been the Bar Harbor Town Manager since November 2014.

At the Annual Meeting, the Cadillac Award Winner will also be announced. The Cadillac Award  is given to a person who epitomizes the virtues of leadership, service, and sacrifice and the quest for personal excellence
