Bar Harbor Bathrooms Open But Parking Ban Still in Effect

The Town of Bar Harbor announced that the comfort stations located on the Town Pier at Harbor Place and Newport Drive, are open for the season, effective today, April 3rd.

That's good news for people like myself who drive down from Bangor, sipping on coffee!  However, just because it's April, that doesn't mean you can park overnight on the public streets or municipal parking lots!  The Winter Parking Ban remains in effect until April 15th. Until then, parking is prohibited between 2 AM - 7 AM on all public streets and municipal parking lots in Bar Harbor.
