Bar Harbor 4th of July Parade [PHOTOS]
What a gorgeous day in Bar Harbor! The weather was sunny with temperatures in the low 80's with a slight ocean breeze. Bar Harbor's 4th of July Parade didn't disappoint!
The Travelin' Lobster won the trophy for Best Theme Depiction.
The Most Creative Trophy went to the Friends of the Jesup Library
The Best Youth Entry Trophy was awarded to the Summer Festival of the Arts
And if there were a trophy given to the contingent that traveled the furthest, it would definitely go to the Nevada Italian Americans who traveled to Bar Harbor from Nevada as the patriarch of the family was celebrating his 80th birthday on July 4th and wanted to march in the Bar Harbor parade!
Even Beacon, Chief Bartlett's dog made an appearance, but all I got was the tail!
