AOS 91 COVID Vaccination Rates and Pool Testing Participation

AOS 91 Superintendent Dr. Marc Gousse released the latest COVID vaccination rates for each individual school within the district, as well as the percentage of students and staff participating in pool testing.

AOS 91 is comprised of Conners-Emerson (Bar Harbor), Cranberry Isles, Frenchboro, Mount Desert Elementary, Mount Desert Island High School, Pemetic (Southwest Harbor), Swan's Island and Trenton and Tremont.

Back on September 15th the 1st round of data was released and it showed the following staff fully vaccinated

Conners-Emerson - 96%
Frenchboron - 100%
Mount Desert Elementary - Not Submitted
MDIHS - 88.3%
Pemetic - 85.1%
Swans Island 81.8%
Tremont - 62.2%
Trenton - 96.0%

Congratulations to the staff at Mount Desert Elementary, MDIHS, Tremont and Tremont that showed substantially more staff members becoming fully vaccinated.

If you are not participating in the free pool testing, please consider talking to the school nurse at your or your child's building and letting them tell you about the advantages of pool testing.

It is through becoming fully vaccinated, masking and participating in pool testing that in-person instruction will continue, and the chances of individuals having to quarantine are greatly diminished.
