72 Housing Units Coming to 377 High Street in Ellsworth

If you are driving on High Street in Ellsworth near the Blueberry Hill Dairy Bar, you'll notice that a substantial area is being cleared for construction. A call to the Ellsworth Code Enforcement Office told me that this is going to be a 72 unit multi-family housing complex.

The developer is John Bates of Stone Park Properties, who is also building another complex behind Global Beverage Warehouse in Ellsworth.

Initial sitework on the High Street property began about a week and a half ago.

As we all know, there is a lack of affordable housing in the Ellsworth area, and hopefully this complex, along with the other in Ellsworth will be able to make a dent in the need.
