Dining out in Bar Harbor will become much more diverse today, Friday November 13th after will re-open after a COVID-19 scare. On November 8th we told you of 7 Bar Harbor Restaurants that were closing because of potential exposure to someone who may be COVID-19 positive. The good news? 6 restaurants are reopening today, or opened yesterday.

Again we commend these restaurants for their swift action in closing on November 8th to protect the safety of the community. Please remember if you are going out anywhere in public you NEED to wear a mask! You need to wash your hands frequently! You need to stay socially distant where possible! If you don't feel well, STAY HOME!  If you have come into contact with someone with COVID-19 you need to be tested and if it's a primary contact as outlined by the CDC stay HOME FOR 14 DAYS! The safety of our communities and the vibrancy of our local economies are at stake!
