7 Bar Harbor Restaurants Close Temporarily Because of Potential COVID-19 Exposure [UPDATE]

I don't know a nicer way to ask you to please follow COVID-19 safety protocols! If you are going out anywhere in public you NEED to wear a mask! You need to wash your hands frequently! You need to stay socially distant where possible! If you don't feel well, STAY HOME!  If you have come into contact with someone with COVID-19 you need to be tested and if it's a primary contact as outlined by the CDC stay HOME FOR 14 DAYS! The safety of our communities and the vibrancy of our local economies are at stake!

Sunday, November 8th saw 7 Bar Harbor restaurants close temporarily because of potential exposure to someone who may be COVID-19 positive. All of these restaurants are to be commended for taking these steps to protect the safety and well-being of the community.

According to 3 separate Facebook posts, the Bar Harbor Pat's Pizza, Leary's Landing and the Dog and Pony Tavern are all closed TEMPORARILY effective Sunday, November 8th because of an employee coming into contact with someone who has COVID-19. This is in addition to Side Street Cafe's temporary closure for the same reason.

Additionally Choco-Latte and Havana will now be closed until November 20th or 21st

It is imperative that EVERYONE follows the established safety protocols if we are to keep schools from going 100 percent remote!
