There were 3813 Versant customers without power in Hancock County on Friday morning, (7:30 a.m.), December 13th.

This was down from 11 a.m. yesterday, when 16,268 customers were without power.

The good news is that the weather on Friday should be good for power restoration efforts, and Versant is able to shift more linecrew to Hancock and Penobscot Counties where people are still without power.

Please remember to give the linecrews as much room as possible  and to slow down, when passing them while driving.

Versant is expecting to have most of those without power restored on Friday. The rest should have power back on Saturday.

Versant will be updating their restoration efforts at 11 a.m. and we will update this story at that time.
