Holy Pasta! Thanks to your generosity we collected 2300 pounds of pasta Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Ellsworth Hannaford from 10-2 PM.

It was a gorgeous day, and the first two hours of the pasta drive, DJ Fred and I were in the sun, and we were nice and warm. The last two hours, the sun moved into the parking lot away from the Hannaford entrance and we froze! But it was all worth it, as we were able to fill the shelves of the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry and Emmaus Shelter in Ellsworth.

This was the 12th Annual Ton of Pasta Food Drive, and in the 12 years, collectively our radio stations, WDEA AM 1370, I-95 WWJ, Z107.3 , Q106.5 and 92.9 The Ticket and prior to that WEZQ, have collected over 90 tons of pasta, which is 180,000 pounds! And we couldn't have done it without the greatest listeners, YOU!

Thanks again, once more, you have shown why living in Maine is such a special place!
