The Maine State Police had a special visitor yesterday. A 13 year old boy named Brett who is on a mission to visit State Police in all 50 states made his stop at the Maine State Police barracks in Alfred during his trip to the New England states.

According to the Maine State Police-Headquarters Facebook page Brett, who has trouble speaking, and has taken a special interest in State Police organizations, has already made stops in New York, New Jersey, Delaware and even the FBI headquarters in Washington as he works his way towards visiting 24 State Police agencies on his list so far.

During his visit to the Alfred barracks Brett was presented with a specially made Maine State Trooper license plate with his name on it, got a complete tour of the facility, participated in some track and evidence searches with K9 Dutch and even got to post the Maine State and U.S. colors.
