MDI Hospital New Mother’s Group

Being a new mom is hard work, whether it's your first child or even if you have had other children previously! That's why Mount Desert Island Hospital is starting a new group meet-up for mothers of new babies. If you have had a new child in the past year, you're welcome to come!

These ongoing meetings will take place every Monday beginning February 22nd from 11:30 to 1 PM on the 2nd floor of the Lisa Stewart's Women's Health Center, 330 Main Street in Bar Harbor. Mothers are encouraged to bring their baby and lunch for the meet-up.

The group is being facilitate by Diane Kay-Daigle LCSW, who specialized in behavioral health counseling for individuals, families and groups. The purpose of this group is to allow new moms to get together and discuss the joys and challenges and share tips on being a new mother.
