Coyotes-Trojans Tie 3-3

The MDI Trojans and Old Town Coyotes battled to a 3-3 tie after double overtime in Bar Harbor on Thursday, October 16, 2014.

It was 1-1 at the end of the first half. Michaela Martin scored for Old Town  and Paige Mason scored for MDI.

In the second half, MDI led 3-2 thanks to goals from Julianna Cleaves and Darcy Kanu. Old Town had a goal from Rachel Martin on a penalty kick.  With 10 minutes left in regulation, Brittany Cousins scored for the Coyotes, to tie the game, and that's where it ended after two five minute overtime periods.

MDI is now 9-2-1 on the season, and in 3rd place in the Heal Points. The Trojans have 2 remaining games in the regular season, both at home, against Hermon on Saturday, October 18th at 11 AM and against Ellsworth on Monday, October 20th at 6 PM.

Old Town is 3-7-3 and in 12th place in the Heal Points with 1 game remaining, against Foxcroft Academy at home on Saturday, October 18th at 1 PM
