While much talk leading up to the Super Bowl centered on the superstars, it was an undrafted rookie free agent who made the play to seal the fourth championship in team history. With the Seattle offense on the half yard line and only 18 seconds on the clock, Malcolm Butler picked off a Russell Wilson pass on the goal line to seal the win. Butler played his college football at West Alabama and was not selected in the draft. The Patriots signed him to a free agent contract right before the start of training camp and ended up making the biggest play of the game.
