Restoration Details:Bangor Hydro crews have made steady progress toward restoring all customers who lost power due to the damaging thunderstorms of Friday night that toppled trees, broke poles and dropped power lines. Less-than-favorable weather conditions and another band of storms on Saturday slowed restoration but the company committed full resources to address the damage and crews are hoping to have everyone restored by mid-late morning on Sunday. All of the Maine Public Service customers who lost power in New Sweden, Ft. Kent and Frenchville Saturday have been restored.

Anyone who comes across fallen power lines and tree limbs near or touching them should avoid attempting to move them.

Bangor Hydro customers are encouraged to check for up-to-the-minute updates on the live outage and restoration map at both www.bangorhydro.com and on the mobile site at www.bhe.com/m. You may also follow us on Twitter.
