Restoration Details:Bangor Hydro crews worked through the night to restore power to customers after thunderstorms tore through, bringing down power lines and tree limbs across Penobscot County last night. The damage was widespread, leaving thousands without power over night. Additional crews had been placed on standby for the weekend in anticipation of the storm, and were deployed last night. More will be deployed this morning in an effort to restore power as quickly and safely as possible today.

Areas with the largest numbers of outages remaining include Old Town, Hudson, Milford, Eddington, Glenburn and Bangor.

Customers are reminded to avoid attempting to remove fallen power lines and trees near or touching them.
