That nasty COVID-19 pandemic may have killed this year's Blue Hill Fair, but it didn't stop the annual poster from being made.

How cool is this year's Blue Hill Fair poster?  Very!

It portrays an empty fairgrounds and grandstand, with a lone fox running the racetrack.  Meanwhile, a rooster perches and calls out from atop a wire fence with Blue Hill Mountain itself raised in the background while embedded within the sphere of the planet Earth.

The year, 2020, looks to displayed on wood, while termites from both sides eat away at it.

We may have literally received a small taste of the Fair this year when some of the regular food vendors set up shop over the past few weekends at the entrance of the Fairgrounds, but of course that wasn't enough. This year's summer just won't seem complete without a trip through the main gate.

But to us, the main point of this year's poster is Blue Hill Fair Strong, a message of hope and determination that once again next year the Fair will continue on.  Thousands will once again continue the Labor Weekend tradition of enjoying cow and horse shows, handmade crafts, sheep dog demonstrations, amusement rides, concerts, fireworks, and french fries and doughboys.  We know that they will.

This year's 2020 Blue Hill Fair poster will be for sale this coming Saturday (8/29) between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. right next to the Jumbo Donuts booth which will be set up at the Fairgrounds.  To order online, follow the directions within the Blue Hill Fair Facebook post.

See ya at the Fair, next year!
