World War 2 Vet Turning 100 Christmas Day [VIDEO]
You'll have to act fast if you want to get a birthday card in the mail for Alvin “Bob” River who will turn 100 years old on Christmas!
River, who is a World War 2 vet, was featured on Good Morning America on Friday, December 18th, and his family is asking for birthday cards for "Bob".
River was drafted into the Army during WWII and served as a sergeant in Germany from 1946 to 1948. After the war, he went on a blind date, dancing and roller skating with a woman named Betty – his now wife of 66 years
River was one of the first in his nursing home to receive the COVID vaccine.
