While Mainers Shovel Red Sox Play Twins

The Boston Red Sox, 9-8-1 during Spring Training will send Chris Sale, Robby Scott, Matt Barnes, Brandon Workman and Bobby Poyner to the mound. This is Sale's 2nd Spring Training start. He pitched March 9th against the Marlins, going 4.0 inning, allowing 2 hits, 0 runs and struck out 5.

Yesterday the Red Sox were off, although Brian Johnson pitched in a minor league game, throwing 64 pitches, striking out 10, in 4.2 innings. He didn't allow a run.

Thursday the Red Sox will play the Toronto Blue Jays with David Price scheduled to start at 1PM and Friday, the Red Sox will play the Twins again, with Rick Porcello starting, with the pregame starting at 6PM.
