Tonight, March 26th is the premiere of the short film directed by Peter Logue "We Were An Island". You can watch it online at 6 p.m.

The 23 minute film will be released at 6 pm, followed by a Facebook Live Question & Answer session at 8 pm with director Peter Logue and screenwriter/composer Jahn Sood.

“We Were an Island” is a narrative short film that explores the true story of Art and Nan Kellam, a couple who lived alone on an island off the coast of Maine from 1949 until 1985. The film is a testament to their enduring love, and a celebration of isolation, something we are all now experiencing while “social distancing”.  What does it mean to be alone? What does it mean for a marriage to be “an island"?

The film stars Becky Ann Baker, Loudon Wainwright III, Jennifer Mudge, Chris Henry Coffey, Dylan Baker, and Mount Desert Island locals Chummy Rich & Jason Hodgdon.
