Ellsworth Road Closures Beginning Monday August 25

The recent water main leak detected last week has proven to be much more extensive than originally thought, and so there will be road closures for possibly several days beginning at 6 a.m. on Monday, August 25th.

Foster Street and Water Street/Bayside Road will be closed to thru traffic from Washington Street to Beechland Road. The closures will remain in effect, until the repairs are completed, which may take several days.

Local Traffic Only will be permitted. Access will be maintained as follows:

• Residents and Businesses on Foster Street - Across from the High Street end.
• Residents and Businesses between Foster Street and Beechland Road - Across from the Beechland Road end.
• Residents between Washington Street and Foster Street - Across from the Washington Street side.

Note - There may be temporary disruptions in water service to Foster Street on Monday.

If there are any Boil Water Orders resulting from this repair, we will be sure to pass them on, as soon as we are informed.
