Tuesday’s Red Sox Game Is Postponed

The Red Sox-Blue Jays Spring Training game, scheduled for 1PM on Tuesday, March 19th has been cancelled, as the forecast for Fort Myers calls for extended rain throughout the day.

The Red Sox will be back in action on Wednesday, March 20th when they play the Baltimore Orioles at 6PM. That game will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA.

Yesterday, Monday, March 18th the Red Sox lost to the Minnesota Twins 4-1. Nathan Eovaldi took the loss, throwing 4 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits. He struck out 3 and walked 1, giving up 4 hits, 1 of which was a homer. Matt Barnes allowed 2 runs in 1 inning, giving up 2 hits and striking out 1.

JD Martinez was 2-2 for the Red Sox, driving in Boston's lone run. The Red Sox managed just 7 hits off of the Twins' pitchers.
