Trenton Election Results

The voters in the Town of Trenton went to the polls on Monday, May 17th, with a major question on the ballot regarding whether to appoint a committee to draft a plan to withdraw from AOS 91 and voting for the Select Board and School Committee. Here are the results

Selectmen (Top 2 Elected)

• John Bennett - 177 votes
• Charles Farley Jr. - 173 votes
• Carlene Hanscom - 151 votes
• Dennis Damon  (Write-In) 108 votes

School Committee (Top 2 Elected)

• Aaron Brown - 249 votes
• Gary Burr - 243 votes

Article 3 - Shall the Trenton School Committee and the Trenton Board of Selectmen appoint a committee to draft a plan for withdrawal from AOS 91 and said committee submit said plan to the Maine Department of Education for approval. And if said plan is approved by the Department of Education, present the plan to the voters of the Town of Trenton for approval
