Penobscot County Jail
A Fort Fairfield man was arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop in Old Town on Monday, police said.
Joshua Churchill, 24, was pulled over for a traffic violation on Stillwater Avenue, said Old Town police Capt. Lee Miller.
The suspect's vehicle was searched after officers spotted a jar of marijuana on the back seat, Miller said.
Officers say they found cocaine, oxycodone, hash oil, nearly $4,000 cash and a handgun.
The gun and money were located in a false bottom in the center console, said Miller.
Churchill is charged with drug trafficking and possession.
