Tradewinds Gas Stations – Penny a Gallon to Food Banks

In mid March I spoke with Chuck Lawrence the owner of the Tradewinds Convenience Stores. He was concerned about the local food pantries, and I suggested to him that if he really wanted to make a difference, he could donate a penny a gallon to food pantries, similar to what he does so for Cancer Care. He ran with the idea!

I am so pleased to share with you, the totals he is donating to each of the food pantries through this penny a gallon donation! First, the grand total of $10,280.80. And as you can see from the photo below, your gassing up at Tradewinds is going to help a lot of hungry people!
