Top 10 Favorite Movie Stars

The Top 10 Favorite Actors list has just been released by the Harris Poll! Is your favorite on it?

America's favorite movie star is Denzel Washington, who reclaims the top spot he last held in 2008 in the annual Harris Poll. Washington knocked out Johnny Depp from the number one slot, which he has held the last two years. The top 10 favorite movie stars:

2. Clint Eastwood
3. Tom Hanks
4. Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt (tie)
5. John Wayne
6. George Clooney
7. Harrison Ford
8. Meryl Streep
9. Matt Damon

John Wayne has the distinction of being the only actor to be on this list every year since 1994 -- even though he has been dead since 1979. This is also the first time since 1998 that Brad Pitt has made the list of favorite movie stars. With three new names on the list this year -- Brad Pitt, Meryl Streep and Matt Damon -- three had to fall off. They are Sandra Bullock, Will Smith and Adam Sandler.
